When Pixels Were Precious

When Pixels Were Precious is an immersive experience that places the participant within an historic house in North Florida where my earliest original computer graphics were created on an Apple II computer. These works from my 1984 Masters in Fine Arts thesis are on view within the house, with recorded narration of how and why each piece was made. In 1984 no one had done anything like these works, mixing CG and photographic elements and they illustrate some of the ground breaking innovation coupled with a decidedly retro charm from those pioneering days when anything seemed possible.
